OLIGO Updates

To download the update:

- Click on the version which you would like to download. Wait a few seconds. Downloading should start automatically.

- For the Windows version you'd need to unzip the downloaded file (StuffIt Expander for Windows will work fine).
- For the Macintosh version you'd need to unstuff the downloaded file using StuffIt Expander™ .

  OLIGO uptate, Version 6.71 for Windows - Last update: March 8, 2005. Update for Windows 95/98/NT/XP/2000 operating systems, contains only Oligo.exe; File name: Oligo.exe, file size: 1.6 M. Install it only into the existing Oligo 6 folder (otherwise a new registration will be required). Good for updating all versions from 6.50 and above. 'Saved Work' file created by this version is not be compatible with any previous Oligo version.

  OLIGO, Version 6.71 for Windows. The entire software package. File name: oli6installer.zip, File size: 2.8 M.

OLIGO update for OS 9 and OS X . 6.90 for Macintosh - Last update: June 12, 2008 . File name: Oligo 6.9.zip, file size: 0.8 M. Install it ONLY into the existing OLIGO folder.

Oligo 6 Carbon The entire software package for Mac OS X ; ("Oligo 6 Carbon.zip") 3.5 M.

OLIGO custom files

Oligo is compatible with custom-made plain text files. You may create a motif file and use it instead of a restriction enzyme files provided with the software. Thanks to Steen B. Pedersen, you may download/copy and try a general transcription factors motif file (you may save the files into the "Tables" folder). If you think you may have files that extend OLIGO functionality please let us know.

If you have a problem with the download or installation of Oligo update you may send your original 6.x disks for a free replacement.
